FAQs
Here are some of the questions people often ask about ADHD coaching, Access to Work and working with me.
Getting started
What is ADHD coaching?
ADHD coaching is practical, personalised support that helps you understand how your ADHD brain works and find strategies that work for you.
Together we might explore overwhelm, procrastination, time management, emotional regulation, confidence, decision-making, career changes or building habits that stick.
Coaching isn’t about fixing you. It’s about understanding yourself better and finding ways to work with your brain rather than against it.
How do I know if ADHD coaching is right for me?
ADHD coaching may be helpful if you feel stuck, overwhelmed or tired of trying strategies that don’t quite fit your brain.
You might want support with work, home life, career decisions, confidence, routines, planning or understanding your ADHD more deeply.
Do I need an ADHD diagnosis?
No. You don’t need a formal ADHD diagnosis to work with me.
I work with adults who are diagnosed, self-identified, exploring ADHD or wondering whether ADHD might explain some of their experiences.
What happens in a coaching session?
Each session gives you space to reflect, untangle what’s going on and decide what you want to work on next.
We might use coaching questions, visual tools, practical experiments, accountability or gentle structure to help you move forward in a way that feels manageable.
What’s the difference between ADHD coaching and therapy?
ADHD coaching is usually focused on the present and future. It can help you understand your patterns, build strategies and take practical steps towards what matters to you.
Therapy may be more appropriate if you want to process trauma, mental health difficulties or past experiences in depth. Coaching and therapy can work well alongside each other, but they are different kinds of support.
Who I work with
Who do you work with?
I work with adults with ADHD, adults who suspect they might have ADHD and neurodivergent people who want support to understand themselves better.
Many of my clients are late-diagnosed ADHDers, women navigating ADHD and menopause, professionals, business owners, charity leaders, creatives or people rethinking work and life.
Do you coach women with ADHD?
Yes. I often work with women who have been diagnosed later in life or are beginning to understand how ADHD has shaped their work, relationships, confidence and energy.
Do you work with people who think they might have ADHD?
Yes. You don’t need to arrive with certainty. Coaching can be a useful space to explore what’s going on, understand your patterns and find strategies that support you.
Practicalities
Are sessions online or in person?
Most sessions take place online, so I can work with people across the UK and internationally.
How many sessions will I need?
That depends on what you want to explore. Some people want a short burst of focused support, while others prefer a longer coaching relationship.
My current packages are Love your ADHD brain, Focus & Flow and Transformation.
How much does coaching cost?
My coaching packages vary depending on the number of sessions and level of support included. You can find current pricing on my coaching page or ask me during a free introductory call.
Can I contact you between sessions?
Some coaching packages include between-session support or light accountability. We can talk about what would be useful for you when we discuss the right package.
